CANOE presented EMPHASIS first results at ICTCF

From March 20th to 22nd, 2024, our partner CANOE participated in the International Colloquium on Tailored Carbon Fibers (ICTCF), organized and hosted by the RCCF Dresden. This event provided the perfect platform to showcase the latest scientific and technological research findings in the development of customized carbon fibers. Attendees anticipated a dynamic three-day program filled with plenary lectures, technical presentations, visits to the RCCF Dresden facilities, and stimulating discussions.

Among the notable attendees was Xavier Solimando, representing our partner CANOE, who effectively presented the progress achieved within the EMPHASIS project. His presentation, titled "Innovative doped cellulose fibers as precursors for supercapacitor carbon electrode materials," emphasized our unwavering commitment to pioneering next-generation supercapacitors. These advancements hold the potential to transform electromobility and smart clothing, ushering in a more sustainable and interconnected future. The symposium served as a hub of innovative ideas, nascent partnerships, and inspiration for future research endeavors.
